Ellen Sue Reeping's Obituary
Ellen Reeping, age 67, passed away on September 18, 2025.
Ellen was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Yvonne Ronick.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Leah Altares. She is survived by her son, Paul Reeping, former spouse, Michael, brother, Steven Ronick, grandchildren; Elliott, Liam, and Declan, nieces; Lindsay and Nichole, nephew, Sean, great nephew Aaron, great nieces Brynlee and Emma, as well as many other friends and family.
Ellen was a lifelong lover of animals, especially dogs, who always found joy in their companionship. She was also deeply devoted to children, working as an autistic support paraprofessional at William Penn Elementary, where her patience and kindness touched countless lives. She will be remembered for her quick wit, her warm sense of humor, and her steadfast spirit: qualities that brought light, laughter, and strength to all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 4, starting at 10 AM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
