Betty was short in stature, being at most 4'11", but BIG in kindness.Known for attention to detail; beautiful hand-writing; tatting (making lace by looping thread wound on a hand shuttle), card-playing, bowling, selling shoes at Joseph Hornes, and ending all conversations with "TOOTLES". Betty loved station wagons, pink roses, grey horses, steak, stuffed pork chops, and Chanel No. 5. Betty was in the fore-front of RECYCLING and coupon-clipping/shopping. A benign brain tumor discovered in 1990 was life-changing. It brought many complications and restrictions. Betty was very active in her dreams where she was free of her physical limitations.
