Elizabeth L. Baxendell's Obituary
Elizabeth "Lou" Baxendell, 87, of Bethel Park, passed away on October 22, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth grew up in the South Side of Pittsburgh graduating from South Side High School. She has been a long time resident of the Bethel Park neighborhood.
Elizabeth was known by many for being kind and reserved, but to those who knew her best she was an active and fun loving person. She was always up for a good time, whether it be going shopping or taking a road trip. Her adventures have taken her to 23 states across the country. Despite having fun in new places she loved coming back to her clean home where she would spend time with her children and root for her home teams of the Steelers and Penguins!
Elizabeth was the loving wife of the late Richard Baxendell; the dedicated mother of Richard Baxendell (Megan) , Kimberly Baxendell (David), Jeanine Hunter (David), Scott Baxendell, Loree McCoy (Jerome), and Lance Baxendell (Dana); sister to Harriette Herrington (Robert). She will also be remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Elizabeth are private and have been entrusted to Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
