Eleanor Olympia Majestic, passed away peacefully at the age of 99 after a long battle with Alzheimer's, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Shaker Heights, Ohio, to Italian immigrants Lilla and Philip Garbo, Eleanor was the last of her siblings-Eva, Diva, Ina, Olga, Grace, Beatrice, and John. She shared a beautiful life with her late husband, Walter Majestic, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before moving to Weston, Florida.
Eleanor is survived by William (Bill) Majestic, Beverly Cohen, Helen Majestic, Dan Ouellette, and grandchildren Lesley Darold Cohen, Lauren Cohen, Neile Surman Deuth, and Zach Darold.
Known for her elegance, bold style, and unshakable confidence, she left a lasting impression wherever she went. Eleanor was pure magic-full of stories, sparkle, and love. Her fierce spirit, wit, and timeless charm will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236.
A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 2:00 pm in the funeral home's chapel.
