Elaine B. Lowman's Obituary
Elaine Lowman, age 72, of Pittsburgh, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 19, 2026.
Elaine was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother, whose faith in Jesus was reflected through her generous spirit and constant love for her family. She provided a model that will have a lasting impact for generations to come.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 56 years Keller Lowman to whom she was loving, devoted, supportive and best friend. Also survived by her children Beth (Vince) DePetro and Jeffrey (Shawna) Lowman; her grandchildren Elaina DePetro, Harry (Tori) DePetro, Nathaniel Lowman, Sarah Lowman, and Samuel Lowman; sisters Linda (Michael) Allen and Carol (Vince) Consoli; sisters-in-law Helen (Bob) Lippert and Norma DeJidas and many adoring nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harry and Betty DeJidas and brother H. James DeJidas.
She was a longtime member of Crossroads Ministries (Library Baptist Church). Elaine was known for her unwavering faith and service to her church family. She loved taking care of the babies in the church nursery and MOPS, and contributing to Vacation Bible School and other church ministries. Her servant's heart and caring nature left an indelible mark on the lives of the many children and families she touched. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life in Honor of Elaine will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 11:00 am at Crossroads Ministries, 81 Walter Long Road, Finleyville, PA 15332.
