This came in the form of serving the Church, taking her nieces and nephews to Vacation Bible School, or caring for anyone in need of help, be it family, neighbors or others in her community. She was a beacon of love and hope to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
When Sue and Bernie met, they carried on these generous values in new and exciting ways. They would delight in treating their family and friends on vacation or throwing get togethers where all were invited. In her early years Sue lived an active lifestyle enjoying such activities as Bowling with friends. She also loved crocheting and playing board games.
