Eileen P. Mandella's Obituary
Eileen (Kirasic) Mandella, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, with her daughter by her side. Born on October 31, 1936, in Duquesne, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Scurle) Kirasic.
Eileen leaves her beloved daughters, Kimberly McGuigan (John), Michelle Schwartz (Craig), Laurie Churma (Duane), and Beth Muchnok (Kevin). She was also the loving grandmother to Dr. Chelsea Schwartz, Demi Schwartz, Kate Muchnok, Sean Muchnok, Brooke Churma, Montana Churma, and the great grandmother of Kayden, Bentley and Callum. She also leaves her sister, Dr. Kathleen Allen.
In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph A. Mandella and her grandson, Kody Churma.
Eileen enjoyed a long career spanning over 25 years with Fuller Brush Company. In the years to follow she was employed with both Kauffman's and Macy's as well. She was a very talented seamstress who took immense pride in her work. Her creativity shone through in each garment she crafted.
In her leisure time, Eileen enjoyed taking trips to the casinos to play slots, where she found joy and entertainment. She had a love for the beach and enjoyed the serenity offered through walks and searching for seashells.
Above all else, her greatest joy in life was her family. Eileen was a dedicated and loving mother whose love only flourished with the additions of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service in honor of Eileen will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 am at Jefferson Memorial Park.
