Edward W. Williams' Obituary
Edward W. Williams , age 96, of West Mifflin, formerly of Port Vue went home to be with his Lord and Savior at his daughter's home in Finleyville on October 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Wanda (Grabiec) Williams.
He leaves behind his children, Guy (Lin) Williams of Pittsburgh and Cheryl Campbell Janov of Finleyville. His grandchildren include, Julie (Matthew) Sommers of Brentwood, Tim Williams and fiancée Kung of Greensburg, Rebecca Moss of Finleyville and Matthew (Maureen) Campbell of Bethel Park. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Upon Wanda's death, Edward was also pleased to be the loving husband of Blanche Campbell and enjoyed the dear friendship of her children, Charles (Debbie) Campbell, Gary (LaVonne) Campbell, Mark (Cathy) Campbell, Robert (Karen) Campbell, Thomas (Sandy) Campbell, Dave (Judy) Campbell, Lori Campbell, and Blanche's 12 grandchildren.
Upon the death of Blanche, Edward loved again and married Evelyn Lorraine Campbell, and appreciated the friendship of her children, Frank Michael (Sonya) Campbell of Kentucky, Dennis (Michelle) Campbell, and Lorraine's 4 grandchildren.
Edward was a proud veteran of the Navy, and worked 1948-1984 for US Steel Irvin Works.
Edward was honored to serve as the Sunday School superintendent at Praise Assembly of God in North Versailles, for 25 years. He enjoyed the friendship and fellowship of his cherished co-workers, Nancy Haun and Rosemarie Miskalis, and the multiple teachers and helpers that shared his love of the Lord. Journey by Grace of Rostraver Township served as his final church where he attended with Cheryl for the past decade.
Family and friends will be welcomed Thursday October 14th, 2021 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills PA 15236. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday October 15th, 2021, 10:00am at the funeral home chapel. Interment at the Jefferson Memorial Park.
