Edward A "Sonny" Vargas' Obituary
Edward A. "Sonny" Vargas , age 85, of Bridgeville, formerly of Glendale, California , passed away after a short illness on December 10, 2021.
Edward is survived by a brother, Gerald Mizejewski; three sisters: Linda Mizejewski (George Bauman), Marian Pokrywka (Frank), Patty Komar (Frank), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Ann Mizejewski .
He loved classic Hollywood movies, reading, spirituality, Egyptology and spending time with his parents, brother and sisters. He was devoted to his Pittsburgh family even during his many years in California. For thirty years he worked for The American Title Company as a manager in Los Angeles. He also loved working as a book seller at a bookstore in the Strip District in his retirement.
A private memorial service will be held at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ed's name may be made to St. Joseph 's Indian School, 1301 N. Main Street, Chamberlain, SD 57325. stjo.org
