Edward "Eddie" John Sardineer's Obituary
Edward "Eddie" John Sardineer passed away peacefully surrounded by loving friends and family at the age of 82. Born on May 19th, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of late George Paul and Ruth Weiss Sardineer.
Ed proudly served in the U.S. Army, where he met his best friend, James "Uncle Mac" McArdle. Ed loved bowling, dancing, joking and was without a doubt the life of the party.
He survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Ann Sardineer; daughter, Michele (Brian) Bender; sons, Darrin (Anne Marie) Sardineer and Craig (Nelly) Sardineer; granddaughter, Alauna Sardineer; sisters, Betty Slagel and Linda Bruss; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ed was proceeded in death by his brothers, George "Tiny" Sardineer and Ron Sardineer; and sisters, Ruth Otway and Katherine Sardineer.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
