Edward Rittenhouse Jr.'s Obituary
Edward "Eddie" Rittenhouse Jr., age 51, of Pittsburgh, formerly of South Park, passed away suddenly on February 16, 2020.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife Jennifer (Rock) Rittenhouse; two step-children, whom he adored and loved to joke with, Garrett Heminger and Jocelyn Heminger, Edwards loving parents, Edward Rittenhouse, Sr. and preceded in death by his mother, Linda (Paulin) Price. His loving in-laws, Diana Varner and Larry Varner. His brother-in-laws, Marcus McCleod and the late James Rock.
Edward will be remembered and loved by his sister, Denise Rittenhouse and stepsister, Tonya (Bob)Badowski.
Edward had many loving aunts and uncles including, Debbie Rittenhouse, Tom and Carol Rittenhouse, the late Howard & Allie Rittenhouse, the late Teresa Martin, Debbie (Bill) Simmons, and David Liddicoat.
Edward had three nephews that he adored, Brandon Anthony, Sebastien Anthony and Stevie Carroll.
Edward was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Howard and Elva Rittenhouse, as well as his maternal grandparents, Howard and Fay Liddicoat.
Edward was loved by his cousins Lori (Rob) Stilley, Tom Rittenhouse, Jr. and Tracy (Jamie) Kepler. And Edward will be dearly missed by his cherished friends, Jim and Sue Stoker, Jeff Wichterman and John Alrich.
He was a proud Army Veteran. He enjoyed playing computer and RPG's. He was the most loyal friend.
Edward strongly believed in the mission of the Center for Organ Recovery and Education, and was himself a donor helping save the lives of many people with his donation.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 from 2-4pm and 6-7pm. Following visitation will be a Blessing Service in our chapel at 7pm. A Committal Service will be held on Friday, February 28th, 2020 at 10am at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
