Edward D. Corbin's Obituary
Age 88, of Port Vue, passed into the loving arms of his Savior on February 17, 2017. A retired employee of Kelsey-Hayes Wheel Co., Continental Can Co. and Fisher Body Div., General Motors. He was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church, former member of Port Vue Athletic Association, (Girls Softball), the Lion's Club and the Port Vue Senior Citizens. Was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in French Morocco. Born October 17, 1928 in McKeesport, Pa., he was the son of the late James S. Corbin and Clara A. Smith Corbin. Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Frances Honacki Corbin. Edward is survived by his devoted daughters Debbie (Dennis) DePalma and Lisa (Michael) Delehanty; cherished grandson Michael Delehanty; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 11:30 am in the Funeral Home's Chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
