I am deeply saddened to learn of Edgardo's death. My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Carmen, his children, and family members. We were colleagues in the Fund and for a period he was my direct supervisor. During that time I was hospitalized and shall never forget that he took the time to visit me while I was there. It was such a kind thing to do and reflects what a kind and caring person he was. The world is a sadder and emptier place now that he is no longer with us. Klaus Boese
