Duane Ralph Lawrence, 81, of Bethel Park, passed away on March 18, 2018. Duane is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Laverne (Ovsak) Lawrence; 2 daughters, Teresa (Joseph) Laboon, Tina (Doug) Mead; grandchildren, Deah, Natalie, Joseph, Lindsay, and Douglas; great grandchildren, Hunter, Sophia, and Ava; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lenora and Wm. Ralph Lawrence; and son, Tim Lawrence. Duane was an avid fisherman, boater, and was an all around family man. He was also a veteran of the Marine Corps and worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail. He retired in 1998, after 40 years of service. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 6 pm - 8 pm & Wednesday, March 21, 2018, 2 pm - 4 pm & 6 pm - 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 11:30 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
