Douglas William Sturm's Obituary
Douglas William Sturm, 75, of South Park, PA, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026. Born on July 29, 1950, he was the son of the late Ira and Frances Sturm and the devoted husband of the late Janet Susan Sturm.
Doug was a steadfast pillar in the lives of his family, and he dedicated himself to being a hard worker and an exceptional father. Though he was often serious, Doug possessed a remarkable sense of humor that brought smiles and laughter to those around him.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in his cherished moments spent fishing, where he found peace and tranquility. Doug also had a keen affinity for working in his garage, where he spent countless hours tinkering with his beloved Ford truck, a testament to his hands-on approach to life and his desire to create and fix.
Doug is survived by his children, Michael Sturm and David Sturm; grandson, Tristan; niece, Tiffany; nephew, Gary, Jr.; and great-nephew, Wayne.
In addition to his wife and parents, Doug was preceded in death by his brothers, Milton Sturm and Gary Sturm.
