Dorothy Tomko's Obituary
Tomko, Dorothy Elizabeth (Simko) 90, of West Mifflin, formerly from Munhall, went to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on December 9, 2016. She passed peacefully in the comfort of her home in the presence of her daughter and son-in-law. Most cherished wife of the late Michael J. Tomko, loving mother of Marlene F. Kier and Dennis R. Kier (whom she considered more of son than a son-in-law), treasured grandmother of Denny M. Kier and Benjamin (Lucy) Kier. Dearest sister of Frances (the late Ronald) Relosky, and the late Evelyn (the late Zolton) Seech, devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Simko, and the aunt of beautiful nieces, nephews, and their families. Dorothy was a kind, giving, compassionate, unique, and strong woman who loved her family above all else. Her life was one adventure after another; always living it her way to the fullest and excelling in all she did. Faith in God gave her strength to overcome any obstacles. Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, PGH PA 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be after the visitation at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Homestead Cemetery in Munhall. In lieu of flowers, she would have appreciated donations be made to St. Joseph Church: 32 S 1st St. Duquesne, PA 15110-1137.
