Dorothy "Dot" Bost's Obituary
Dorothy “Dot” Bost , 91, of Pleasant Hills died peacefully May 9, after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer’s. Born March 21, 1927 in Davidson, NC, she married Glenn Eugene Bost in 1948 and moved to Pittsburgh, PA in 1955. They were founding and active members of Windover Hills United Methodist Church in South Park. She played Bridge all her life and only stopped when she realized she could no longer remember the previous bid. She was preceded in death by Glenn (1992) and her sister Katherine “Kitty” Honeycutt (2004). She felt their losses greatly. Survivors include; son Glenn (Susan) of Pittsburgh and their daughter Corey (Devin) Nix; daughter Pam (Rick) Leaman of Mooresville, NC and grandchildren Taylor (Brian) Alas and Hunter. Great grandchildren; Marcus and Tristan Nix and Madeline Alas. Services are private and condolences may be left on Legacy.com and jeffersonmemorial.biz. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St Judes Childrens Hospital.
