Dorothy Louise Anderson's Obituary
Dorothy Louise (Cunningham) Anderson, 89, of Port Vue, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2022.
Dorothy is survived by her children Adele (Paul) Winwood, Cheryl Forrester, Alan (Emily) Anderson, Kevin (Luigina) Anderson, Charles (Ruth) Anderson, Keith Anderson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Henry Francis Anderson; her parents, Hazel and Steele Cunningham; brothers, Charles Cunningham and Steele (Rena) Cunningham; and her favorite pup, Shorty.
Dorothy was the best wife, mother and grandmother. Raised shortly after the Depression, she knew how to make something extravagant out of nothing. She was famous for her spaghetti and liver and onion being a great cook all of her life.
In her spare time, she loved to play BINGO, volunteer at Jefferson Hospital and spend time with her family.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 18th from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 2 P.M. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
