Donna L. Tamilia (Lee)'s Obituary
After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Donna Tamilia of South Park, PA, died peacefully surrounded by loved family members and friends on March 18, 2018. She is now an angel in heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ and with her father, Dominic DeLeo, watching over all of us. She will live on in our hearts forever. Donna was the daughter of Patricia (O’Neill) DeLeo and the late Dominic DeLeo. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Joseph; loving son, Adam; brother, John (Janet) Lee; and sisters, Darlene (Bill) Leader and Diane (Jeff) Clem. Donna is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Donna was a special person, a bright light in any room, who loved and was loved by many. She was a graduate of Point Park University and worked 36 years for the U.S. Dept. of Energy. The family would like to thank the caring and loving doctors, nurses, patient care technicians, housekeeping aids, and support staff at Magee Hospital who were so compassionate and caring, and made her stays there so comfortable. Thanks also to Dr. Berger and Dr. Taylor who treated her with such kindness and compassion. Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, March 21, and Thursday, March 22, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, at JEFFERSON FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 23, 10 a.m., at St. Joan of Arc Church, South Park. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the families suggests memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Center (www.stjude.org).
