Donna R. Bucko's Obituary
Donna R. Bucko, 88, of Pittsburgh, PA. passed away on June 12, 2025. Donna dedicated over 30 years of professional service as a Registered Nurse within the South Hills Health System, where she embodied compassion and care, tirelessly working to better the lives of all she touched.
She was actively engaged in her children's education as a proud and involved member of the Parent Teacher Association and could always be found cheering on her and kids and grandkids at various sporting events.
Donna sought joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a love for slot machines and trips to the casino, going camping with her family, and could often be found sipping on her favorite drink: a White Russian, often mixed with Nassau Royale. She loved expressing herself through dressing in bright colors and jewelry. What she cherished the most, however, was her family and making many fond memories with them.
Donna will be profoundly missed by all who had the chance to know her. Donna is survived by her children Edward E. (Debbie) Bucko Jr. and Lorn A. (Adrienne) Bucko; grandchildren Brandi L. (Myrle) Perry, Edward E. (Cassie) Bucko III, August V. Bucko, Deacon Thomas Bucko, Riley Fries, Jackson Fite, Kadence Costa and Elizabeth Perry.
Preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Bucko Sr., and parents August and Dorothy Guibourdanche.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday June 17, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held at 10am on Wednesday June 18, 2025 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
