Donald C. Wolfram, age 89, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023, in Jefferson Hills, PA. Born on March 24, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a man of integrity, wisdom, and an unwavering love for his family.
Donald was a graduate of Connelly Trade School and used his skills to build a lifelong career as a Union Carpenter. His work ethic was unparalleled, reflecting his dedication to his craft and his commitment to providing for his family. He was a proud Army veteran, serving our nation with distinction and honor during the late 1950s.
Known for his love of the outdoors, Donald was a man's man who found joy in the simplicity of life. He was an avid woodworker and a restorer of antique classic cars, skills that showcased his handy nature. He was often seen riding his John Deere tractor, a testament to his industrious spirit and love for the land.
Yet, it was his family that truly defined him. He was a loving husband to Shirley L. Wolfram, whom he married in 1957. Their bond remained strong and unwavering, a testament to their love and commitment. His children, Leslie (David) Parks and Scott Wolfram, were a source of immense pride and joy. Donald cherished every moment spent with them, instilling values of hard work, honesty, and kindness that they carry forward.
He was a doting grandfather to Craig (Samantha) Parks, and his great-grandchildren, Charlotte Grace, Harrison Carter, and Amelia Jane, were the apples of his eye. Donald's love for his family was palpable, and he would often regale them with stories from his life, earning him the reputation of a storyteller. Each tale was told with fervor and enthusiasm, as if it was the first time, leaving a lasting impression on his family.
Donald was preceded in death by his loving parents, Walter and Mary Wolfram, and his four sisters, Gladys, Virge, Mary and Ruth. Their teachings and values have been carried forward by Donald, a testament to their love and guidance.
Donald C. Wolfram was a man of few words but many actions. His life was a testament to his loving, handy, and wise nature. He was a beacon of wisdom, guiding his family with his experiences and teachings. His love for his family was profound, and he leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication.

Family and friends will be welcomed for visitation on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 12:00pm-2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm following final visitation, a graveside committal will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park afterwards.
