Donald K. Takach II's Obituary
Donald K. Takach II, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed on March 10, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on August 21, 1964 to the late Donald Sr. and Carol Takach.
Donald attended Robert Morris College, where he earned a degree in business. He also devoted over 25 years as a Client Service Representative in the appraisal industry, the last few years with Applied Services Inc.. Donald made many friends in his work life that will miss him dearly.
Donald enjoyed friendly competition, whether it was showing off his considerable skills in poker tournaments, aiming for strikes in his bowling league, or out on the greens when golfing. His intelligence shone brightly during bar trivia and watching jeopardy, often leaving others in awe of his knowledge and quick wit. Donald's love of trivia was paralleled only by his love for Pittsburgh sports. A true fan, he treasured the moments cheering for the Steelers and all teams representing his hometown.
Donald's life was rich with strong, quiet simplicity, and an enormous affection for family. He is survived by his sister Dana Takach, brother David (Julie) Takach, numerous cousins, as well as the many other family members who will deeply miss him. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Donald Sr. and Carol Takach.
A Memorial Service for Donald will be held at 2pm, on Saturday, March 16th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
