Donald A. Nimpfer's Obituary
Donald A. Nimpfer, 81, of Dormont, went to heaven on June 15, 2018, surrounded by family.
Donald is survived by his beloved Wife Virginia "Ginny" (Hegel) Nimpfer. Loving Father of William D. (Tracey) Nimpfer. Cherished Pap of Melissa A. (David) Lancia, the late Christopher M. Nimpfer, Bradley W. Nimpfer, and Leah (known to Pap as"Leroy") Nimpfer. Great-Grand Pap to Elana C. Lancia, Natalie S. Lancia, Sofia M. Lancia and Parker B. Nimpfer. As well as many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parenets, Aloysius E. and Helen Nimpfer; his sister, Carol Boss.
Donald loved his backyard with the two ponds he created. All the grandkids would say, "take it to Pappy he'll fix it". He proudly served his country serving in the United States Army.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 18, 2018, 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm & Tuesday, June 19, 2018, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018, 10:00 am, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236.
