To Carolyn and the family. I was honored to know Don for the short time that was available to me. But short as it was, it was delightful. Memories of Naples, Atlantic City and Baldwin will always be with me. He was a special man, always laughing and upbeat, and I thought the world of him. I always thought I had one more visit left to us. Sad to know that’s not possible on this earth. I will hold my memories close forever.
To tbe Family: Im so very sorry for the passing of your dear loved one who many knew and loved very much, but know this, that he is safe in Gods memory awaiting for Jesus Christ to resurrect Donald back into your arms to hold and to cherish and for us to know if this is true, we need to read what Jesus Chriat is saying to us in the Bible book of John 5:28,29 to which we find him here giving us a future promise of his to resurrect your Donald back into your arms to be with forever....and for us to know if that is true, all we need to do is read in Gods word the Bible book of Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it...so many of you will be able to welcome Donald back into your arms to hold and to be with, forever.....

I was saddened to learn of Don's death in the \"Pittsburgh Post Gazette.\" I am a Baldwin-Whitehall School District classmate alumnus and friend of Don. Regrettably, following graduation from Baldwin H.S. in 1958, I was off to college in Indiana and thereafter lived in McKeesport, PA, N. Huntingdon, PA, Chicago,IL, Wexford, PA and McMurray, PA, so I lost contact with Don. I always enjoyed time spent with him way back then. He was congenial, honest, and humble, and I respected him as a friend through my teens. I will pray for you, his family, as you grieve his absence from your lives. At the same time, based on the tone of this obituary, I have no doubt that you will be celebrating his life and cherishing the precious memories with him that you have accumulated.
