Donald John Gaublomme's Obituary
Donald John Gaublomme, 87, of Pittsburgh, PA. passed away peacefully in his home on October 03, 2022.
Donald is survived by his children Kristin Eismont (Michael) and Donald P. Gaublomme (Shang-Jeo); grandchildren Nicole Eismont, Michael Eismont, Peter Gaublomme, and Kai Gaublomme.
Preceded in death by his wife Janet, parents Eugene and Mini Gaublomme, and brother Eugene Gaublomme (Pauline).
Donald was a graduate of Elizabeth High School. He then went on to serve in the US Army. After his service, he attended the Douglas Business School. He enjoyed coaching his kids sports teams and watching his grandchildren play baseball, softball, soccer and everything they were involved in. He was also an avid horse racing fan. He was a gentle, patient and kind man and will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 7 at Noon in the funeral home's chapel.
