Donald R. Conn's Obituary
Donald R. Conn, age 85 of Lincoln Place, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2020. Left to share his memory is his beloved wife of 63 years Ann (Yancura) Conn (his high school sweetheart); and his only child, Donna Jean Conn, who was his pride and joy as a devoted father and dearest brother of the late Ethel Miller.
Don worked for US Steel, Irvin Works, as a millwright for 44 years. He was the Union President of the mill for 12 years, then became President of his Local Union #2227 and finally in his retirement years became President of SOAR (an active seniors group).
Don had many enjoyments in his life that included bowling, travel, the theater and his "Steelers". He is missed by all who were blessed by his smile.
Private burial was held in Jefferson Memorial Park.
