Age 66, of South Park Twp, passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a short battle with cancer. Sone of the late Bill and Rose Cleary. Survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Mary Lou (Garlaus); beloved son, Nicholas; grandson, Blake; sister, Susan Walton (Thomas); and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Don went to South Park High School where he excelled in soccer and basketball. He then served in the Army for 3 years. He was in the concrete business for 43 years, both in Pittsburgh and Cape Coral, Fl. Don was an avid golfer, loved the Steelers, and was fortunate to go to Super Bowl IX to watch them win. He loved watching all sports and enjoyed DooWop (oldies) music and loved to dance. Don will be deeply missed, but we know he is at peace now and pain free. Family and friends will be received November 2, 2017, from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm - 9 pm at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will be held November 3, 2017, at 1 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care (50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15243) and the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
