Dolores Pauline Vukovich's Obituary
Age 80, of South Park, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents Charles E. and Pauline (Popovich) Awenowicz. Beloved wife of more than 61 years to John Lloyd Vukovich, Sr.; loving mother of Gloria (Michael) Stephan, Timothy, and John, Jr.(Susan); very special grandma of Paul and Blair Stephan; sister of the late Charles R. Awenowicz, Ronald (Ann) Awenowicz, Loretta Holder and Kenny (Dianne) Awenowicz; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dolores genuinely loved her family and many friends. She enjoyed traveling the world and made friends wherever she went. For many years, she extensively researched family genealogy, and followed figure skating competitions. She was passionate about her Polish heritage and made the best nut horn cookies in the world! Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. A Funeral Service will be held indoors on Monday, April 30, at 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Private interment at Jefferson Memorial Park.
