Dolores M. Keller's Obituary
With grieving and broken hearts we said goodbye to our Mother, Dolores Keller (Dee), of Baldwin, Sunday April 14, 2024. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Pittsburgh to her late parents Martin Kinavey and Helen Yermak. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend on 65 years, Philip Keller.
She is survived by her three children, Phil (Nancy) Keller, Deb (Don) Tarczy, and Kurt (Terry) Keller; her grandchildren, Carissa (Jason) Larkin, Sarah (Chris) Ochtun, Kurt (Jodi) Keller, Laura Scherer, Angel (Rege) Schranz, Valerie (Nima) Aghaebrahim, Michael Slampak, and Becca Tarczy; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Marlene Hohowski, Mary (Ray) MacBeth, Jeanne (Mark) Schoenberger and her brother Martin Kinavey.
Dee was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who unconditionally loved her family and found great joy in her grandchildren. Her cabin in the mountains was a place she loved to be outdoors and walking the pond. Dee admired by all for her beautiful and amazing baking skills. She was always so happy to have visitors and greeted them with a smile.
A loving remembrance and celebration will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10:30 am at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236.
