Dolores Evelyn Jacobs' Obituary
Dolores Evelyn Wormsley Jacobs, age 88, of Crafton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 12, 2023.
Born, December 2, 1934, in Magee Women's Hospital to the late Madge Wormsley. She grew up in Horning, PA the second youngest of six children.
On August 6, 1955, Dolores married the late Frank W. Jacobs Sr. This union was blessed with Five children, Linda Jacobs, Denise (the late Reginald C.) Irish, Frank Jr. (Pamela) Jacobs, Kimberly (Willie) Clark and Lisa Jacobs. She started working at an early age as a domestic worker. She retired as a nursery worker in 2015 at Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship Church. She was a huge Steelers fan. She liked the game of Bingo and was an avid player. She also loved listening to music. She was a member of Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship, in Mount Oliver, PA.
In addition to her 5 children she leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Jerome Jacobs, Jamar Jacobs, Maurice Hutchinson, Frankie (Booney) Hutchinson, Quinn Hutchinson, Reginald Irish Jr., LeRon Jacobs, Randi Janea Saelee, Corey Irish, Darius Jacobs and Christopher Jacobs; and a host of great-grandchildren, sister in-law, Verona Jacobs-Sams, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Jacobs, Sr.; mother, Madge Wormsley and her siblings, Dorothy Johnson, Thomas, Raymond, Robert Wormsley, and Margaret Ann Parker.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Funeral Service immediately following at the Pittsburgh Christian Fellowship Church, 407 Brownsville Road, Mount Oliver.
Burial will take place at the Jefferson Memorial Park, 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills.
