Dolores "Elaine" Lashley's Obituary
Elaine Lashley, age 91, of Pittsburgh PA (formerly of Largo FL), went to be with her Lord and Savior with family by her side, on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Luther "Pete" Lashley.
Loving mother of Sherry (Frank) Tishey of Bethel Park PA, Debbie (the late Warren) Miller of Bridgeville PA, the late John (Paula) Lashley of West Mifflin PA, and Pete (Joni) Lashley of Clearwater FL. Cherished grandmother of Kim (Kirk) Terpeck, the late Bobby Jacobs, Stacey Griffin, Renae (George) Polovchik, Jason Miller, Jonathan (Michelle) Lashley, Jaclyn Lashley, Amber McLeay, Kaylee Morrow, Terri Morrow and Olivia Lashley; great-grandmother of Amanda (Jeff) Marsch, Tyler and (Courtney) George, TJ Polovchik, Hunter Terpeck, Eli Polovchik, Aaron Polovchik, Devin Griffin, Nathan Griffin, Alex Lashley, Nate Lashley, Lily McLeay, Vivian McLeay, and Eva Miller; great-great grandmother of Grady, Maddox, and Avian. Elaine is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Luther "Pete" Lashley; her son, John Lashley; her grandson, Bobby Jacobs; and her parents, John and Myra Pottinger; and her sister, Jane Caldwell.
Elaine loved spending time with her family and baking special treats for them. Elaine loved talking sports with her family and especially loved the Steeler's and all the Pittsburgh Teams. She was an avid reader who loved living in Florida taking brisk walks even up into her 90's, gardening and visiting Sand Key Park at Clearwater Beach, Florida.
Services have been entrusted into the care of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date when family can safely gather in honor of Elaine. Online condolences may be shared at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
