Diane L Kuzel's Obituary
Diane L. Kuzel, 79, of Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025. She was born on March 15, 1946 to Ralph and Evelyn Maiette and raised in Mount Washington.
Diane was the loving wife of 57 years to Dennis M. Kuzel; a loving mother to Lea A. Myers; the Special Gram of Kendallyn Diane Myers and Blake Steven Myers; sister Debra Maiette; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph J. and Evelyn I. Maiette, and her brothers, Robert, Regis, Ralph, and Ronald Maiette and her precious dog Scooter.
Diane had a love of baking and could always be found baking in her kitchen, sharing good times with her family and friends. One of her favorite treats to make was her delicious Lady Locks. Her homemade icing was legendary, inspiring others to try and make it just like she would. Diane even spent months preparing and baking the cookies for her daughter's wedding, sharing in the joy and celebration with her labor of love. She cherished the memories and love shared with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Diane's impact was immense, and her absence will be felt deeply. However, the love and light she brought into the world will persist with those who had the chance to know and love her.
Friends and family will be received from 7-9pm on Friday, May 30, 2025 and from 12-2pm on Saturday May 31, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday in the funeral home chapel following visitation.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
