Diane Faber-Lehotsky's Obituary
The Diane Michelle Lehotsky, 66, of Krugerville, TX, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Denton, TX. Diane was born January 13, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA to Ernest Nicholas and Betty Jean (Hughes) Faber. She married Stephen Michael Lehotsky in Baldwin, PA on May 29, 1981.
Diane worked in law enforcement for the Denton County Sherriff’s department for 30 years. During her career, she served in many roles as a detention officer, dispatcher, DARE officer, patrol and extradition officer.
Diane was incredibly generous and kind, she loved going out to eat, to the movies, and the casino. She loved animals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and any type of social event. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, friend, and Meme to all that loved her. Diane set the example of living a life with love and compassion. She always put others first and treated everyone with respect. She lived Her life as a reflection of Her favorite Song “Always Stay Humble and Kind.” She leaves behind a legacy of generosity and selflessness to all that knew her.
Diane is survived by her spouse of 43 years, Stephen of Krugerville, TX; son, Stephen Jay Lehotsky of Krugerville, TX; two daughters, Michele McCombs of Aubrey, TX and Melissa Anderson and husband Kevin of Denton, TX; five grandchildren, Kynadi Hall, Landon McCombs, Cade McCombs, Maddy Anderson, and Mason Anderson; brother, David Faber of St. Johns, FL; and sister, Kim Browne of Ponte Vedra, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest N. and Betty J. Faber.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5-8pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2pm.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
