Deena Marie Nesiti's Obituary
Deena Marie Nesiti, 43, of West Mifflin, passed away surrounded by her loving family to be with her Lord and Savior on June 22, 2017. Deena is survived by her beloved husband, James Jay, Sr.; her treasured sons James Jay, Jr. and Nicholas Diego. Beloved daughter of Lorraine Juliano-Thomas and the late Frances D. Smith, Jr.,; step-mom, Marhsa Latkovic; daughter in-law to, Timothy Steven Nesiti and the late Geraldine Nesiti; step-father, Joe Sunseri; God-daughter of Jim and Diana Ferris; granddaughter of Lenora "Mimi" Marizzaldi and the late George P. Juliano; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
Deena fought a courageous battle for 7 years against breast cancer. She was a dancer, loved to paint, she was an active writer of poetry, a cosmetologist and hair dresser, and she was an activist in her own right for many cancer organizations. She was full of love and compassion, a gift for making people feel important, needed and loved. More than anything Deena's true passion was speaking the message of our Lord and Savior into the lives of others. Deena will be deeply missed until the day we meet her again. Amen.
