Debra Ann Vissari's Obituary
Debra "Debbie" Ann Vissari, 67, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 6, 2025.
Debbie worked for many years as a Coin Teller for the Federal Reserve Bank, reconciling her journey there. She enjoyed her time as a stay-at-home mom, her role as a mother and grandmother was the one she treasured the most. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, often spoiling the latter. The home she cultivated was always bustling with life and activity, reflecting her essence as a wonderful wife and mother.
Conversations with Debbie often took place over a cup of coffee-a simple pleasure she savored with her family, friends and her community. She was a lover of music, and an avid reader, being especially fond of Nicholas Sparks novels.
Debbie's legacy of kindness, devotion, and putting others first will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will be greatly missed.
Debbie is survived by her loving Husband Donald Vissari; her Sons David Ryan Vissari, Daniel Adam Vissari, Dustin (Makenna) Vissari and Dylan Andrew Vissari; Granddaughters Hazel Vissari and Violet Vissari; Siblings Joan (the late Kenny) Rising, Sandy (the late Jack and Lenny) Widmer, Henry (Linda) Melnik, James (Karen) Melnik and Linda (Albert) Kapela; and beloved friends Susan Malinowsky, Julene Pegher and "The Butler Vissari's". Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Altheia Melnik.
Friends and family will be received from 11am-2pm, on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Blessing service will be held at 2pm in the funeral home chapel following visitation.
