Debra Ann Mirt's Obituary
Debra A. Mirt, 67, of Venetia, formerly of Mount Lebanon, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her loving family. Debra was born in Greensburg, PA, on March 30, 1955, the loving daughter of John R. Wagner and the late Barbara (Irwin) Wagner.
Debra studied at Duquesne University where she graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor's degree in Education. She enjoyed a long career as a nanny and a preschool teacher with Kingdom Kids. Her six great loves were God, her husband, Joe, her family, her pets, nature and children.

Debra is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Mirt; her stepsons, Joey and Billy Mirt; her father, John R. Wagner; her brother, Robert Wagner and his wife, Leslie; and many beloved brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her four legged companion, Angel.
Services and burial have been entrusted to Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Allegheny Health Network Hospice and West Penn Oncology Dept. Nurses for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to one of Debra's favorite charity's in her honor- Smile Train, World Vision, Orphan's Promise, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Shriner's Hospital.
