\"Deborah Pierce\" will remain in our hearts forever.
Deb was a wonderful person and I am so blessed to have known her. I worked with her at NETL and even though I was located in Oregon, Deb was always cheerful on the phone and so happy when I could see her in person. I am so glad that I was able to get to know her. She will be sorely missed.
From Don Martello: Deb & I had a personal connection time, where we had many heated discussions, but always resolved our issues. Deb was spunky & took no lip from you without letting you know what SHE THOGHT. I Really appreciated her tenacity, lust for life, fairness, and venting her frustrations to me, as she also listened to my vented frustrations to her over time as a dear friend.
Remembering Debbie by planting a tree in her memory. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Eugene and Mary Carol Carrie, John, Marissa and Bryce Jamie , Amy and Fintan
My condolences! My thoughts and prayers are with the family! angela Bosley (NETL)
Deb was both a colleague and friend to us at NETL. Always positive and always with a kind word which helped to brighten sometimes tough days. In particular, Deb was a Science Bowl Star. She volunteered to work with middle and high school students and teachers every year that we knew her at the annual Western PA Science Bowl. She loved to work behind the scenes (on kitchen detail no less!) and never wanted to be in the limelight... she was just happy to be part of efforts to help others. When a student needed something or had a question, she was there with a smile, kind word, solution to a challenge, and/or a warm hug. Deb was truly one whose mission was to help others and brighten their days. She will be greatly missed by the whole Western PA Science Bowl family. Our deepest sympathies and condolences to her family and all her many, many friends. (Alicia Delmastro, Mario Rybacki, & Ken Mechling)
