Deb or \"Gayee\", as she was called after Alex learned to talk, was an extremely hard worker and gave of herself all the time. Whether it was coming over the house to help clean or cook or watch Alex, or taking out her mother (Mema) before she passed away, or taking out Eunice before she passed away, she always did things for others before herself. She was a dedicated employee, either taking the bus downtown (or driving downtown) or driving 30-40 miles north 5 days a week. (even after she shattered both wrists while roller skating!). She wore her heart on her sleeve and loved her family and friends with a spirit that you don't see too often. She was in the ultrasound room, when we found out Alex was going to be a boy. At that moment, she was so happy, she was crying tears of joy. She, along with Don, and my parents, were at the Hospital when Alex was born on May 6, 2007, and she kinda forgot to turn the Video Camera off because she was so excited! She was always so proud of Alex and every milestone that he achieved from crawling, to walking, to talking, to learning to read, to watching him \"play\" soccer at age 3, to karate, to basketball, to Cub Scouts, to baseball, and just last week seeing Alex achieve all A's on his latest report card. Now, Alex will have another pure Angel on his shoulder and in his heart (joining Mema, Deb's brother Keith, and my grandparents), when he does other things in the future. She will be missed by a lot of people but especially by Don, Kelly, and Alex. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you. Mike and Janice Marshall Mike Marshall
