Deborah A. Bartek's Obituary
Debbie Bartek, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Jefferson Hills, passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on April 20, 2022 with her loving husband, Matt, by her side. Matt and Debbie were high school sweethearts who shared 43 beautiful years of marriage together. She was the deeply cherished mother to her son Brian (Gina) Bartek and daughter Brittney (Brian) Thompson. Loving and proud “Mimi” to Nolan and Landon Thompson and Hadley Bartek whom she spoiled every chance she got. Dear sister of Annette (Duane) Dearfield and adoring aunt to Kristina (Josh) Stein and Janelle (Tyler) Vallano. Beloved daughter of the late Francis and Dorothy Kudla. She had many close friends which was a reflection of the generous, sweet person that Deb was to all. Family vacations to Hilton Head and cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins were some of her most favorite times. Mom/Mimi/Deb will live on in the hearts of all of us. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236. Memorial Visitation will be on Tuesday April 26, 2022 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Blessing service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday April 27, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. with Father Jon Brzek officiating.
