Super Dave left us 1 yr ago. I lost my best friend of 60 + years. I still console myself by talking to him daily. I pray that when it is my time Super Dave will meet me and show me the Ropes. RIP good Buddy. Rob
You’ll truly be missed! It was my pleasure knowing you. Your smile and wit will be missed. So happy we got to know you! Loved seeing you enjoy my cooking! Knowing your in a better place is a consolation to those left behind!
We will miss you Dave. It was nice to see you at the reunion and have coffee with you. You were a wonderful person, so fun and charming. We were looking forward to seeing you again in July. We will think about you then. I was so glad you and Gary reconnected. He enjoyed your e-mails and phone calls. God bless you and your family. Always in our hearts.
Love, Gary and Sue Sausto
Dave and I have been friends since the Summer of 1952. The beautiful smile, eyes, and humor never changed in all those 66 years. Every time I got back to Pgh, Dave would plan something for us to do. A group dinner with old school friends, a sightseeing tour of the changes on Brookline Blvd., and so much more. My heart aches knowing I won't be with him again at our next reunion to see his smile and laugg at his jokes.

Super Dave,I know that you and I didn't see each other often with us living in different states, but I have great memories of going to Pirates games with you and Dad. Going to the Zoo with Dad you and Brian. You were always family to me and always will be.
Thank you for being Dad's Best Friend and for giving us all memories that we will never forget. Rest in Peace, you will be greatly missed.

Super Dave: We were best friends for over 60 years. Almost to the end he would call me 3 times a day, and ask me the same questions over and over again. I would tease him about it and tell him my IQ drops 10 points every time he calls. What I wouldn't give to hear him ask those same questions again.
We were like Brothers since the 6th. Grade and I will miss our. Sometimes mindless repartee . He was a big part of my life. Can't wait to see him again in Heaven.

Almost 28 years ago, Dave and I took a trip, in my Piper Cherokee, to Graceland in Memphis, TN to visit Elvis Prestley's mansion. Many times when I saw Dave outside of his home, we'd remember that good time we had then. Sorry to say, you are gone much too young. R.I.P.

I knew Dave fairly well at SHHS and kept in touch for our Class of 1964 Reunions and other Events. He was a Good Guy. Always Pleasant with a Smile. Truly saddened by his Passing. Just So Sad to hear this. I took this Photo of David with his Mustang at an Oct. 2010 Picnic at the Silent Brook Barn in South Park. That SMILE you see on Dave is just exactly how he was. (Joe Casato. SHHS June 1964)
My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends. May you find some comfort in the promise found in Revelation 21: 3-4 and 1 Thessalonians 4:14. Knowing that there is an opportunity to be reunited with loved ones.
