David Glenn Phenicie's Obituary
David Glenn Phenicie, age 76, of South Park, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2022.
David is survived by his loving children, Dawn (Jeremy) Durkacs, Katy Phenicie, and David (Toni) Phenicie , his grandchildren, Lexi, Addison, Maddox, Lily, Trip, Blake, Ryner and Rayah, his sister, Colleen (William) Farrell. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 20 years, Mary Phenicie, his parents Glenn and Marie Phenicie, and his siblings, Diane (the late Red) Darabant and Denise (Mike) Cononie.
David was known for the love he had for his family, his love of exercise, and his fun loving personality. He loved to volunteer, and was a very active member of his church, helping to plant the church garden and wash dishes for the fish fry dinners. He delivered Meals on Wheels for 15+ years. David started every morning by walking on the Montour Trail to Cogos to get his morning coffee and play the lottery. Above all he cherished the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Friends and family will be welcomed for visitation on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, 10:30AM at St. Joan of Arc, St. Catherine Labouré Parish, 6470 Library Rd, South Park Township, PA 15129, everyone please meet at the funeral home no later than 9:00AM to line up for procession. Family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon following mass in the church social hall.
