David M. Bauer's Obituary
David M. Bauer, 43, of South Park, formerly of Whitehall, on October 1, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Becky Bauer; children, Jacob, Kaylin, and Logan; parents, Linda and Tom Bauer; siblings, Krista (Nick) Day and Mark (Lisa) Bauer; nieces and nephews, Alex, Kara, and Lily Day, and Madelyn and Faith Bauer; best friend Brian (Karen) Sholder, and their children, Josh and Alyssa; as well as fur babies, Abe and Scoobs. Dave was a loving father, husband, and son, who enjoyed watching his children in their activities, loved watching sports, and played soccer as a student at Baldwin High School. He was an all around wonderful, warm, and genuine person. He was a longtime prepared foods manager at Giant Eagle. He will be missed by all who were privileged to know him. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, October 5, from 5-8 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the "Memorial Fund for Dave Bauer" on GoFundMe.com.
