Darrell L. Shipley's Obituary
Darrell L. Shipley, age 64, of Monessen, PA (formerly of Kingsport, TN) passed away on November 11, 2016. Precious husband of 17 years to Patricia M. Shipley; father of Kristie Hohman, Darrell S. (Kirsten) Shipley, and Amber (Adrian) Perez; step-father of Rina (Thomas) Shray and George (Michelle) Ognag; grandfather of Zachary, Paige, Austin, Rebecca, Victoria, Tyler, Mikayla, Kalina, Abby, Bella, and T.T.; brother of Vanessa (Jim) Sales, Alan (Lisa) Shipley, and Doyle Shipley; son of Evelyn (Hammonds) Lee and the late Roy Ivan Shipley. Darrell was a Navy veteran, Vice President of the Bank of NY/Mellon, a past President at Falcon Archers, and past President of the PA Field and Target Archers.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 16, from 5-7 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh 15236. A Blessing Service will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home chapel.
