Darla McGinnis' Obituary
Darla McGinnis, age 40, of McKeesport and North Versailles, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2022.
Darla attended East Allegheny Highschool. Her favorite hobbies were selling at various flea markets, collecting coins for her mom, playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets, and having a good time with her family and friends. She could make a new friend anywhere she went. She was truly a selfless person who spread light everywhere she went with her smile and laugh. She loved being a mother, grandma, aunt, sister, daughter and friend. Her family was her whole world and she had a heart of gold.
Darla is survived by her loving children, Alyssa McGinnis, Justin McGinnis, Austin McGinnis and Nicholas McGinnis, her beloved grandchildren, Waylon Napier and Harlan Napier, her father Carl Remly, and her sisters, Nicole (Collin) Szczepankowski and Christina (Gary) Westbrook.
Preceded in death by her mother, Wannita Remly.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel following visitation at 4:00pm. Inurnment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 1:00pm.
