I had fun playing pick-up basketball games at Lebanon Jr. High and at golf outings with Danny in earlier years. He was a tough, competitive athlete and a good man. He will be missed. My condolences to his family - may God comfort and sustain you during this difficult time. Rich Lindner

I met Daniel in South Park Table Tennis Club several years ago. He was so nice to newcomers and every summer, he brought some unknown but tasty fruits to the club and shared with us. I will you, my friend.
We will miss Dan and his tremendous smile. A man with such a sense of humor! Always there to lend a hand or help in some other way. Dan embraced living with a unique flair. Ruth, Nat, Erin, all our love goes out to you. He’s at peace, his pain is past. We’ll cherish always the weekends and visits we spent up on the hill at the Liebold’s or at our home. Most of my memories of Danny are when we were little cousins meeting up at grandma Slowik’s for the holidays. What fun we all had raiding the three tiered candy cart, flipping baseball cards against the kitchen wall and swinging from grapevines in the woods out back. I cherish those memories of happy carefree days. These pictures are circa 1963? of the 5 Liebold and four Slowik kids. Grandma Agnes Slowik was Danny’s mother, Marge Liebold (Slowik),’s mom.
