Daniel J. Pierce's Obituary
Daniel 'Dan' J. Pierce, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 37. Born on November 19, 1986, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the beloved child of Dennis and Dawn Pierce.
Dan attended Keystone Oaks High School, where he graduated in 2005. Dan's passion for technology and design led him to further his education at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), where he studied computer animated drafting and design, graduating in 2013. His creativity and skill in this field were evident in his work and hobbies.
Professionally, Dan worked alongside his father at DJ Pierce Heating and Air Conditioning. His dedication and work ethic were unmatched, and he took pride in contributing to the company's success and the comfort of their clients.
Dan's life was a testament to the love he had for his family. He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Dawn Pierce; his sisters, Beth (Shaun) Curtiss, Kristy (Forrest) Conroy, and Jennifer (Greg) McWilliams; his adoring nieces and nephew, Grace and Luke Curtiss, Violet and Saige Conroy, and Camille and June McWilliams. He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Pierce, Jr., and his paternal grandparents, Claude and Elizabeth Pierce, as well as his maternal grandparents, Donald and Rita Lang.
Those who knew Dan understood that his family was his world. He was a protective and fun-loving uncle, always ready with a smile or a joke to brighten the day of his nieces and nephews. His presence at family gatherings was a source of comfort and happiness, and his absence will be deeply felt by all.
All services will be private and handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
