Daniel J. O'Connell, age 84, of Clairton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
Daniel dedicated over 30 years of his life as an office manager at James E. Steele Meat Company, where he was known for his diligence and camaraderie among colleagues. He was a passionate man with varied interests; in his younger years, he embraced the thrill of scuba diving and later found joy in playing cards with friends and family. An affable jokester, Daniel was never known to have enemies and could bring a smile to anyone's face with his light-hearted humor. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 59 years Nancy O'Connell; children Daniel (Bobbie) O'Connell, Jr., Kathleen Provident, and David O'Connell; grandchildren Casey (Marc) Graw, Rylee O'Connell, Emily O'Connell, and Luke O'Connell; great-grandchildren Lennon, Cash, and Denver Graw. He is also survived by 3 siblings.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Margaret O'Connell and 3 siblings.
A graveside service for Daniel will be announced.
