Daniel A. Maceno's Obituary
Daniel Anthony Maceno, age 47, of South Park, passed away on September 12, 2021.
Daniel was the loving husband of Maria J. (Wauthier) Maceno; father of Grace E. Maceno and Evan D. Maceno; brother of Michelle (Jeff) Bertok; son-in-law of Jack and Debbie Wauthier; nephew of Roger and Lorraine Maceno; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel W. Maceno.
Dan was a proud United States Army Combat Veteran, serving his country for many years here at home, in Iraq, and other places around the world. Three days before his deployment 17 years ago on December 26th, he married the love of his life, Maria. Together they had two children who were the light of his life.
Dan was a journeyman electrician and in recent years, an instructor with the IBEW Local #5 Apprenticeship Program where he taught new electricians the trade.
Gardening, bowling, fishing and cooking always brought Dan joy. He especially loved the challenge to try new recipes that were allergen free for his daughter.
Out of the many accomplishments Dan made during his life, his family was his greatest. Dan will be missed for his cuddles, family time, play wrestling and his willingness to help anyone in need.
