I found out after working at Pittsburgh Public Schools for like 5 years, that there were going to be massive layoffs.
Dale must of heard about it and called me that same day and told me to not worry, he could get me in the Port Authority if I got laid off. I was very touched by his sincere concern and help. I didn’t get laid off and continued working for PPS for another 23 years. May you rest in peace and watch over all your loved ones. You were a great guy, a unique person for sure.
