Corinne "Corky" Joy (Cashdollar) Neff's Obituary
Corinne “Corky” Neff, 66, of Baldwin, following a decade-long battle with cancer, died Wednesday, April 24, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of forty years to Raymond Neff; loving mother of Paul and Patrick Neff; devoted daughter of the late Richard Cashdollar Jr. (Mary Ann) and the late Myrna Colaluca; devoted sister of Richard Cashdollar (Marilyn); Bruce Cashdollar (Pamela); Susan Grandillo (the late Marshall); Tracey Lewis (Joe); and Robert Cashdollar (Melissa); she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren and their families.
Corky worked for numerous years in the financial services industry, most notably at the Federal Reserve Bank in downtown Pittsburgh, where she met her husband Raymond, and at PNC Bank. In addition to her work, Corky was a longtime active member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish (formerly St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish), where she was a constant volunteer particularly at the church bingo kitchen. Upon retirement, she began volunteering with Meals on Wheels and caring for many neighbors and friends.
In addition to being an excellent wife, mother, sister and friend, Corky will be remembered for her love of birds and for baking her famous “Corky’s Chocolate Chip Cookies.” She was a true matriarch.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 on Saturday, April 27 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BRCA Foundation or Autism-Pittsburgh.
